About US!
Tabernacle of Faith Christian Fellowship (TFCF) is a modest, Bible-based church in Newburgh, NY, led by Pastor Dr. Willie K. Carley and First Lady TroyLynn Carley, founded to be “a church for people” with a big heart and a strong focus on loving others.
Here at The Tabernacle, we offer a full, weekly rhythm of worship, prayer, teaching, and community care designed to bring “spiritual and economic hope, encouragement, and empowerment” to people in Newburgh and beyond.
We serve individuals and families of all ages in the Newburgh area and beyond, including kids and teens through age-specific youth ministries that help them grow in their faith in a fun, engaging way.
A Typical Sunday
Worship & Sunday Services
Our worship life centers on Sunday, with a teaching-focused Morning Impartation, a time of united prayer, and a vibrant worship service that blends music, Scripture, and practical preaching to help people apply God’s Word to everyday life. Services are casual, welcoming, and open to anyone looking for a church home or a place to reconnect with God.
Prayer Ministry
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry covers the church, the city, and national concerns in prayer, with pre-service prayer on Sundays from 10:30–11:00 a.m. and a dedicated weekly prayer call on Wednesdays from 6:30–7:00 p.m. via Zoom. This ministry partners with local, national, and international prayer networks, reinforcing TFCF’s belief that “a community that prays together stays together.”
Bible Study & Discipleship
On Wednesdays from 7:00–8:00 p.m., the church gathers online for Bible Study, creating a midweek touchpoint where adults, families, and new believers can grow in Scripture and ask real-life questions in a safe, interactive setting.
Youth & Children’s Ministry
TFCF provides age-appropriate ministry for kids and youth, helping them know Christ, understand the Bible at their level, and build positive friendships. Children and teens are engaged through teaching, mentoring, and activities that reinforce the church’s mission to “help others help themselves” and to love unconditionally.
Men, Women, & Youth Ministries
The church offers ministries for men, women, and youth which focus on encouragement, mutual support, and practical teaching for everyday life. These groups create smaller circles of fellowship where people can pray together, serve together, and grow as leaders in their homes, workplaces, and community.
Outreach & Community Care
Flowing from its calling to be “a church for people,” TFCF’s outreach emphasizes both spiritual and economic empowerment, serving the local community through encouragement, practical support, and partnerships that extend beyond the walls of the church. The heart of outreach is to reflect God’s unconditional love and to help people move toward healing, restoration, and reconciliation in every area of life.
The overall experience is warm, encouraging, and centered on helping people encounter Christ, grow spiritually, and learn to “help others help themselves” while loving unconditionally.
